WICE Meeting at IEEE ICC 2019

The WICE ComSoc Standing Committee meeting was held on May 23, 2019 from 12:30 – 14:00 at the Oriental Riverside Hotel, in conjunction with the IEEE ComSoc 2019 International Conference on Communications, Shanghai, China.

  1. Welcome & Introduction – WICE Chair Ana Garcia Armada welcomed the members to the meeting. Attendees introduced themselves.
  2. Approval of Minutes (IEEE ICC 2018) – minutes were approved.
  3. Report of the Chair – included information regarding organized events, Student Travel Grants, Child Care Grants, External Nominations Committee and WICE Awards. The presentation of the WICE Chair is available here
  4. Future initiatives – future events were discussed for WIE ILC and GC 2019 (workshop). The nomination process for WICE awards 2019 will soon start.
  5. Any other business – none.
  6. Adjourn – The meeting was adjourned at 14:00.
