The first WICE ComSoc Standing Committee annual meeting was held on December 11, 2014 from 7:30 – 9:00 AM at the Hilton Garden Inn, in conjunction with the IEEE ComSoc 2014 GLOBECOM Conference, Austin, TX.

The meeting started with the report of the committee chair, Dr. Octavia Dobre, on the committee activities, overview of the 2014 WICE Workshop and plans for the upcoming WICE Workshop in 2016. Dr. Andrea Goldsmith provided a presentation of statistics regarding nominations of women for awards and women recipients of awards at the society and IEEE levels. The agenda of the meeting, along with the chair report and the statistics can be found here.
